The first thing to do is check my availability. Take a look at the ‘Contact me’ sections at the bottom of each page – I’ll list my availability there.
If I have space, then please drop me a line through the secure form, making clear whether you are looking for individual psychotherapy, weekly couples therapy or a couples intensive. Only if we can find a suitable time for therapy will we book in for an assessment.

Take a look at the ‘Contact me’ section at the bottom of this (and every other) page. I update that at the start of each calendar month.

My fees start at £85 for individuals and £110 for couples. I do offer a limited number of concessions slots for individuals although these are all filled at present.

I address this very question on the dedicated page for intensive couples therapy – but in brief, there’s no ‘best’. Some couples prefer the steady rhythm of open-ended therapy, but if you need big change to happen fast, if divorce feels imminent, and/or you can’t find time to have therapy every week for (usually) several months, then the intensive process could be worth exploring. Both approaches – open-ended or intensive – can be transformative.

I’m qualified to work with young people from age 18 upwards. For younger clients, a qualified Child & Adolescent therapist would be recommended - you can filter the search results on the BACP’s Find a Therapist directory (scroll all the way down on the left hand side).

I’m sorry, but no, I don’t work with any insurers. If you need to pay that way, you can filter the BACP’s Find a Therapist directory for therapists who see EAP clients.

It doesn’t happen often, but if I see you out and about, I will never approach you or give any indication that I know you. Your confidentiality is of paramount importance to me. If you wish to share a brief hello, then you’re welcome to give me a nod and I will reciprocate!

Hmmm, realistically it probably is a dealbreaker. Two cats and a short-haired dog live in the house. The dog isn’t allowed upstairs/in the office, but the cats don’t seem to care about my professional boundaries.

I’d say I’m about 2/10 like Dr Melfi. Maybe even only 1/10. Sorry if that’s disappointing. At present, the TV therapist I like the most is Orna Guralnik from Couples Therapy, although the thing that impresses me most about her isn’t so much her great therapeutic interventions but the fact that her dog is so well trained. #goals
Contact me
If you’re interested in beginning therapy with me, please fill in the secure form and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. It’s really helpful for me if you can write a sentence or two about you (and your partner, if you are seeking couples therapy) and why you are seeking therapy.
Availability as of February 2026: Unfortunately I don’t currently have any spaces for individuals or weekly / open-ended couples work, but please do send me a message if you would like to go on my waiting list – I anticipate having some availability for couples from March.
The only spaces I have right now are for intensive couples therapy, which takes place on Fridays. If you and your partner might be interested, please do book a free intro call to talk more about the process.
I look forward to hearing from you.
